Whatever happened to the Lesser Apes?
Yes, there are still species remaining that fall under the Lesser Ape category, yet we hear nothing of their survival, nothing of their safety, and surely nothing of their necessity for our assistance to continue to thrive on Earth.
Find me a regionally, nationally, or globally appreciated organization that prides itself on the gibbons and siamangs, and I will be convinced that the world doesn’t only empathize with the cute animals…
